Located in the industrial area of Woodinville, WA, Northwest Brewery Works (NWBW) joins the Washington craft beer family. With the capacity for 60bbl brewing, NWBW will be cranking out pints and crowlers to a family and dog friendly crowd while rolling in food trucks that pair deliciously with their 14 tap handles. Twelve handles are dedicated to NBW, one for a cider and the final handle will be a guest beer.

NWBW’s massive venue is currently under construction, but will have a capacity for approximately 80 craft beer lovers, as well as room for more NBW fans where there are bands, beer yoga and other activities.   (Pictures below of the progress)

Side note: Hey NWBW, if you're gonna do yoga, might I recommend the fabulous Dawn from Just Add Yoga. They have an absolutely amazing, knowledgeable and fun crew of yoga instructors that love craft beer.  Just a humble opinion since I have participated at a couple of their events.

NWBW, if you are reading this, I can give you Dawn’s contact email to get beer yoga at the brewery.

Cliff Hall is the owner and has 14 years of home-brewing under his belt and will act as assistant brewer for the time being. Cliff and the head brewer, Will Lefevre, have one immediate focus, produce crisp, clean and refreshing lagers. Here in the Pacific Northwest, lagers are underappreciated and underrepresented!

In typical brewer fashion, Will is not down with the limelight.  Will was too busy working on a stellar recipe for a picture.

Cliff’s close friends at Lagunitas recommended Will for the head brewer role. Previously, Will worked for Seismic and Lagunitas in California.  As of now, Will and Cliff have mastered a few recipes and are excited to bring new life to lagers in the Pacific Northwest.

Additionally, Cliff found Stephanie to manage the taproom. She has an extensive portfolio in the Washington craft beer industry. She has worked at Flatstick Pub, Malt & Vine, Cairn Brewing and 20 Corners Brewing. Cliff really knows how to surround him with talent that will make NWBW successful.

Beginning next week, Cliff hopes to begin brewing and then have a soft opening in April 2018.  Keep a look out for more NWBW's announcements on Facebook

Finally, NWBW’s vision is to create a public house ambiance where the community will gather for brews, discourse and lots of fun activities.  Plus, NWBW is recycling the spent grains and donating beer for the Seattle Women’s Hockey Club fundraiser. This event is an exhibition hockey games that includes a beer garden, food, kids activities, bake sale, silent auction and more.  You can join the fun by going to the Sno-King Ice Arena on Saturday, March 31st.  Doors open at 7:00 PM and the games begin at 7:45 PM.  If you want to watch some exciting hockey and get an early taste of NBW beer, get your tickets HERE!
